SuiteDocsTM is a database-driven application that gives you the ability to import, retrieve, view and then control and monitor the use and fate of your important documents. SuiteDocsTM is included as part SuitePacs enabling you to associate any number of documents for specific tasks, projects, manufacturing operations, etc. into a logical controlled container.

User Login Security
  • Governs who can access any item or feature and to what extent – no access, view only, edit, delete, full access . . .
  • The administrator can set up user groups with different rights to access the various features in the software.
Document Control
Scheduled Release
  • Built-in version control and document approval and signoff. Schedule document release begin and end dates. Create ordered signoff lists.

Secure File Cabinets
  • Create your own "file cabinet" system for storage of documents and packets in an unlimited tree structure.
  • Import Controlled Documents using Drag and Drop, Autoimport and or Manually. Setup security – limit who can access any file cabinet virtual drawer or folder.

Search Criteria
  • User defined "search criteria" and a "search engine" gives you the ability to add unlimited extra fields or keywords to your documents. For example, drawing number, job number, customer, operation ... fields specifically for ISO9000 file control requirements.
  • The search engine helps you to quickly filter, sort and locate specific packets.
Viewing Documents
  • Use native or 3rd Party applications for viewing pages
  • Optional AutoVue? software for viewing almost any graphical or text file or document.
  • AutoVue? plug-ins adds that ability to your web browse.
AutoImport
  • The Autoimport function enables you to drag and drop documents into folders to be automatically imported into the SuiteFactory database file cabinets.
Linked file document support
  • Check out and edit as well as approval extends to document files that reside outside the SuiteFactory database in shared operating system folders or directories.

Using 3rd Party Applications
  • Documents can be checked out for editing or viewing while locking their use by others until the edit is complete.

Email and Distribution Lists
  • Users can create individual Email and Distribution List to which Emails can be added. These can then be used to Email any Document or Packet to any individual in the Email/Distribution List by Zipping the Document/Packet, Packets can contain main documents, and Emailing them. Emailing can be done from any Workstation or right from any Machine Tool!
