New DNC File

Overview

SuiteFactory provides a N/C Editor that is specifically designed to be used when editing N/C Program.  SuiteFactory's Editor is available for creating new N/C File or for modifying existing Files.  See below for details.

Manage DNC Files (Assigned Items-Editing New File No Resource Collection Selected)

If you want to create a new N/C File you need to enter the name of the new file in the Text Box Area. See Above. If you want to create this file and not associate with and Resource Collection just select the machine tool and click the Create New DNC File Icon and the following Window will be displayed.

Create New DNC File Warning

This warns you that this is not associated with a Resource Collection, which means there is no way to have a machine tool access it. You can assign this to a Resource Collection later if you chose. Normally you should always associate an N/C File with a Resource Collection.

Click the OK button to continue or the Cancel button to end the action.

If you want to create a new N/C File you need to enter the name of the new file in the Text Box Area. See Above. If you want to create this file and associate with and Resource Collection just click on the plus sign next to the machine tool if need be and select a Resource Collection and click the Create New DNC File Icon and the following Window will be displayed.
