Add DNC File

SuiteFactory provides a User with ability to create Packets which are secure ISO9000 based containers where any number of related documents and files can be associated.  After building a Packet if you need to add a document or file to the Packet follow the instructions below.

Note: N/C Files that are controlled within SuiteFactory's base structure in general can only be accessed using SuiteFactory's Administration Modules. DNC files are special files that can only be sent to and received from Machine Tools.

Manage Packets (Assigned - Add New DNC File)

Click on the "Add New DNC File" Icon and the following Window is displayed.

Manage DNC Files (Assigned - Selection Window)

Select the N/C File (s) that you want and click the Select Button until you have completed your selections.  After completing your selections click the Close Button and the following Window will be displayed.

Note: As you select the various file the following Window is displayed for each N/C File.

Conformation Window

Name the new DNC File in the Text box and click the "OK" button and the following Window is displayed.

These represent general operational procedures, which apply to all types of Documents/Files.  I.e. Every other "Packet" operation dealing with Controlled Documents, Un-Controlled Documents and N/C Files is identical.
