Fault Tolerant Behind-the Tape Reader Interface
FT-BTR is a full-featured, industrial grade, low cost BTR (Behind the Tape Reader) with data I/O via a “fault-tolerant” data packet based protocol via an RS-232 link. Used with CCI’s SuiteDNCTM and TerminatorTM software for full database security and remote administration. Also works with our legacy products DNC500 and DNC1000.

  • Fault-Tolerant data packet based protocol via RS-232 guarantees error free data transfer.
  • 512K memory standard with storage for the equivalent of more than 3000 feet of tape
  • Infinite tape length support via revolving buffer
  • Built in serial and parallel (FACIT) ports for uploading from CNC memory.
  • Connection for optional external LED and Reset, Rewind and Tape/BTR switches
  • 24 LED’s for status and troubleshooting.
