Remote Request of Approved Files

Overview

SuiteFactory provides a means to request files to be sent to and from the machine tool directly from the machine tool without the need of a computer.  See CCI's machine tool configuration for details.

Since files can be requested directly from the machine tool there is a need to restrict what files can be requested.  This section allows you limit what files are available.

Note: See below for the setting the various options.

Remote Request Send Only....

Checking this option will only allow Approved DNC Files to be remotely requested from a machine tool.

 How to Handle...

Warn When Latest...

If this option is chosen you will be warned if the latest version is not being send to you when you make a request from a CCL Request.  I.e. This may happen when a user only has access rights to an earlier version of a file that has a later version available. 

Send Latest...

If this option is chosen you will not be warned if the latest version is not being send to you when you make a request from a CCL Request.  I.e. Chose this when you want this particular user to receive the latest version of a file to which he has access rights not necessarily the latest version.  This may happen when a user only has access rights to an earlier version of a file that has a later version available to which he doesn't have access rights.
