Configure 3rd-Party Tools

Overview

SuiteFactory provides a mechanism for for allowing Users to be able to access files and documents inside SuiteFactory's secure vault and use 3rd-Party Tools (Native Applications) to modify these secure document.  You can select any applications that are available on your physical workstation and register them with SuiteFactory and assign these applications to particular User Groups.

This will then allow Users to manipulate these files with these 3rd-Party Tools but still keep these documents secure within SuiteFactory.  Following details how you setup these tools. For detail on how to edit and control these edits see other sections of this manual.

Main Tool Bar (Configure 3rd-Party Tools...)

Click on the Configure 3rd-Party Tools.. and the following Window is displayed.

To add a 3rd-Party Tool to a particular Workstation select this workstation and click the New button. The following browser is displayed.

Select the 3rd-Party Tool you would like to add to SuiteFactory for this Workstation and click the Open button and the following Window will be displayed.

Rename 3rd-Party Tool

You can rename how the application is displayed in SuiteFactory with above. It doesn't change the original application's name.

Check the User Groups you want to be able to use this 3rd-Party Tool and click on the Apply button.
