Overview

There are times when you would like to be able to startup a third-party tool, chose a file or document stored in SuiteFactory and start the application without having to leave SuiteFactory. SuiteFactory provides this convenience to its Users.

See below for how to pick a document and start a registered third-party tool from within SuiteFactory.

Note: Performing this function doesn't delete the original file in SuiteVault.

Manage Controlled Document (Copy and Open with 3rd-Party or Native Application)

Click on the "Copy and Open..." Icon and the following Window will be displayed.

Select Third-Party Tool

You can select any third-party tool register to SuiteFactory or let Window decide what the Native Application is. Following is an example of an Application modifying an exported file from SuiteVault.

At this stage SuiteFactory has no knowledge of this exported file.
