Create Help and Help Topics

SuiteFactory provides documents that are general help files for use at specific or generic machine tools.  In general there are times when an operator may need help with specific equipment, Gages, OHSA requirements, Quality Procedures, Tooling, Operating Instructions, Company Contacts, Emergency Information, etc.

SuiteFactory provides the ability to create all of these Help Files either in generic, specific or a default document for use at the machine tool.

Create Help Topic

Note: If this Help Topic is specific to a machine tool you must Chose the machine tool before continuing.

Specific Topics for a Selected Machine .............

When choosing this option you will notice that when you type in the Topic Name that the name that is really being generated is in the text box below.  The ending Komo Mill is being added as an extension. This topic is for this machine tool specifically since in general you would expect the an Operation's Manual would be specific to a particular machine tool. 

Click the OK Button brings up SuiteFactory's Editor to create the Topic contents. You may also Cut and paste to this file if you wanted to use existing materials.

Default Topic for Selected Machine

Choosing option will allow you to create a document that is considered the default help document for this machine tool. In other words when an operator requests a help file using a remote request with just the command (HELP) they will receive the document you are about to create.

Clicking the OK Button will bring up SuiteFactory's N/C Editor.  See above!

Generic Topic for Any Machine

Choosing option will allow you to create a document that can be accessed by any machine tool operator and contains information that is not specific to any particular machine tool.
