Database Utilities
These utilities allow you to repair and compact the database as needed. During the use your database will be backed up in case of a failure of either of these operations.
From the Main Application select the "File" menu and then the "Database Utilities" Menu and the following Window will be displayed.
Warning
The above warning let you know that choosing this option means that you will need exclusive access to the database. Click on "OK" button and the following Windows will be displayed.
Confirmation to shutdown communication engine.
Database Utility Window
Depending on your choice the following options are displayed.
Repair a database
Click the "OK" button and the following Window will be displayed.
Repaired & Backed up first just in case!
Click the "OK" button to continue. If this fails please call CCI immediately with complete details.
compress a database
Click the "OK" button and the following Window will be displayed.
Compacted & Backed up first just in case!
Click the "OK" button to continue. If this fails please call CCI immediately with complete details.
Backup Database
Click OK and the following Window will be displayed.
Select Folder to backup to
Click OK when you have chosen the correct folder.
