Access All Files

Checking this right grants this "User Group" the ability to Access all N/C Files no matter what Resource Collection the are contained in.  

Access Unapproved DNC Files

Checking this right grants this "User Group" the ability to View all N/C Files that are Un-Approved.  This is the only "Right" granted.  If you need to additional "Rights" inherited for other "Rights" to perform any actions.

Assign DNC Files/Clear DNC File Assignments

Checking this right grants this "User Group" the ability to Assign  and Clear DNC File Assignments to Resource Collections. Resource Collections are the reference holders for N/C Files.  Packets and Machine Tools can also be assigned to Resource Collections  allowing the Machine Tools access to N/C files and "Users" to access them both.

Check Out DNC Files for Third-Party Editing

Checking this right grants this "User Group" the ability to check out a N/C Files for editing with a Third-Party Tool.  Third-Party Tools are setup at each Workstation and could be an test editor, MS-Word, etc.

Compare Two DNC Files

Checking this right grants this "User Group" the ability to select and compare two N/C Files.

Copy All Listed DNC Files to a Folder

Checking this right grants this "User Group" the ability to export the listed N/C Files to an external folder.  This doesn't remove these from SuiteDocs database.

Copy DNC Files

Checking this right grants this "User Group" the ability to make a copy of an existing N/C File.

Copy DNC Files for Third-Party Editing

Checking this right grants this "User Group" the ability to copy and check out a N/C File for editing with a Third-Party Tool.  

Copy DNC Files to a Folder

Checking this right grants this "User Group" the ability to export the listed N/C File to an external folder.  This doesn't remove this from SuiteDocs database.

Copy Help Topics

Checking this right grants this "User Group" the ability to make a copy of an existing Help File.

Create Help Topics

Checking this right grants this "User Group" the ability to create a new Help File from scratch and save it in SuiteFactory's database.  

Create New DNC Files

Checking this right grants this "User Group" the ability to create a new N/C File from scratch and save it in SuiteFactory's database.  

Delete DNC Files

Checking this right grants this "User Group" the ability to delete the listed N/C Files and  remove them from SuiteDocs database.  These will be archived to the archived database though.

Delete Import Source After Delete DNC File

Checking this right grants this "User Group" the ability to delete the import Source after deleting the N/C File in the database.   This is for Manual Importing only.  Automatic Import either deletes the file or move it to a subdirectory during the Import session.

Delete Master DNC Files

Granting this right allows this "User Group" the ability to delete Master Files.  Grant this right with caution.

Edit DNC File Approval and Signoff

Checking this right grants this "User Group" the ability to Approve and Signoff a N/C File as "Approved".

Edit DNC File Data

Checking this right grants this "User Group" the ability to open DNC files with SuiteDNC's editor for editing the file data.

Edit DNC File Properties

Checking this right grants this "User Group" the ability to Edit the Document Properties. The properties consist of file extension and whether it is a "Master" file. Master Files are protected from normal deletion and require additional "Rights" other then the "Right" to be able to delete N/C Files. 

Edit DNC File Search Criteria

Checking this right grants this "User Group" the ability to Edit the values used in the search criteria fields.

Edit DNC File Search Criteria Picklists

Checking this right grants this "User Group" the ability to Edit the values used in the search criteria picklist fields.

Edit File Transfer Queues

Checking this right grants this "User Group" the ability to Edit a queue of N/C Files for a particular Machine Tool.

Edit Help Topics

Checking this right grants this "User Group" the ability to open Help files with SuiteDNC's editor for editing the file data.

Edit Master DNC File Data

Checking this right grants this "User Group" the ability to Edit "Master" DNC Files Data.  

Editing Non-Master DNC File Can Overwrite

Checking this right grants this "User Group" the ability to Edit "Non-Master" DNC Files Data.   These are regular N/C Files not "Master" DNC Files.

Import DNC Files

Checking this right grants this "User Group" the ability to manually import N/C Files  into SuiteFactory's database.

Manage Archived DNC Files

Checking this right grants this "User Group" the ability to manage files that have been archived.  These rights include the ability of View, and re-import them back into the active database.

Monitor File Transfer Queues

Checking this right grants this "User Group" the ability to Monitor a queue of N/C Files for a particular Machine Tool.  This "Right" is automatically granted if you can Edit File Transfer Queues.  This allows you access the queue of N/C Files for a particular Machine Tool.

Print All Listed DNC Files

Checking this right grants this "User Group" the ability to Print all Listed N/C Files.  You must have the "Right" to "Print DNC File Contents".

Print DNC File Contents

Checking this right grants this "User Group" the ability to Print the contents of a Listed N/C File.

Print Setup

Checking this right grants this "User Group" the ability to modify the CCI Print Setup.

Purge DNC Files

Checking this right grants this "User Group" the ability to Purge DNC Files.  This "Right" should be given to only Administrators.

Queue DNC Files to Receive

Checking this right grants this "User Group" the ability to queue N/C Files for receiving from the machine tool into SuiteFactory's database.

Queue DNC Files to Send

Checking this right grants this "User Group" the ability to send N/C Files from SuiteFactory's database to the receiving machine tool.

Queue or Send (Networked Controller) All Listed DNC Files

Checking this right grants this "User Group" the ability to export all of the listed N/C Files to an external folder.  This doesn't remove these from SuiteDocs database.

Queuing DNC File to Receive Can Overwrite

Checking this right grants this "User Group" the ability to queue N/C Files for receiving and overwriting the existing files.  Give this "Right" with causion.

Rename DNC Files

Checking this right grants this "User Group" the ability to rename N/C Files.

Rename Help Files

Checking this right grants this "User Group" the ability to rename Help Files.

Sign Off DNC Files

Checking this right grants this "User Group" the ability to Sign Off N/C Files as Approved or Un-Approved.   I.e.  A Manufacturing Manager can approve a N/C File for use in production if he is granted this "Right".

Update DNC File Packet Page References

Checking this right grants this "User Group" the ability to add, delete and modify a Packet relating to N/C Files contained in the Packet.  A Packet is a logical entity that can contain Documents, N/C Files and Controls what actions can be performed on these entities.

View DNC File Approval and Signoff

Checking this right grants this "User Group" the ability to View all N/C Files waiting to be Approved by you and Signed Off.  This is the only "Right" granted.  If you need to edit the signoff status you will need that "Right".

View DNC File Contents

Checking this right grants this "User Group" the ability to View the N/C File data itself. This is the only "Right" granted.  If you need to edit the N/C File you will need that "Right".

View DNC File History Reports

Checking this right grants this "User Group" the ability to View the N/C File History if this option has been set to on.  This give the complete file modification, up and downloading, etc. history.

View Help Topic Files

Checking this right grants this "User Group" the ability to View the Help Topic File data itself. This is the only "Right" granted.  If you need to edit the Help Topic Files you will need that "Right".

View Mode All Files->Machines and Resource Collections

Checking this right grants this "User Group" the ability to View the mode "All Files->Machines and Resource Collections".

View Mode Resource Collections->Machines->DNC Files

Checking this right grants this "User Group" the ability to View the mode "Resource Collections->Machines->DNC Files".
