Drag & Drop

Overview

Support of Drag & Drop in today's applications is expected and most consider it mandatory.  SuiteFactory supports Drag & Drop where the use is efficient and intuitive. The objects that SuiteFactory's supports for dragging & dropping include: N/C Files; Documents; Packets and File Cabinets.

If you are using the left hand mouse button while dragging, SuiteFactory uses the standard paradigm regarding dragging & dropping which includes using the Control Key for Copy and defaults to Move if you are not using the Control Key. 

If you are using the right hand mouse button the behavior differs during the dropping the object you are dragging.  A popup-menu is displayed with various options including the ability to cancel the drag & drop option.  This is the safest approach but requires and additional step.
