Edit Checked Out Document

Overview

SuiteFactory provides a User with the ability to check out a file for editing and allows this User to close the third-party application being used to edit this file without finishing the edits and bringing the file back into SuiteVault. This allows a User to edit a file over an extended amount of time at their convenience without having to bring back into SuiteVault.

Note: To continue edits on a checked-out document clicking the "Edit Checked-Out File" Icon.

Manage DNC Files (Assigned Items-Edit Checked-Out File)

Click the "Edit Checked-Out File" Icon and you be able to continue any previous edits. See "Check Out & Edit" for how you can use third-party editing.
