Edit Active File Transfer

Overview

SuiteFactory provides the ability to manipulate an active file transfer should you need to Abort, Restart, Search though a file for a particular spot to start a transfer (Tool breaks and want to start in the middle of the program), etc.

The following explains how to use the features.

Monitor Window

The Monitor Window will allow you manipulate the queue, abort a program, stop a program and restart it at a particular line in the program and to just restart at the beginning.

If for example you bread a tool and want to start from a place in the program other then the beginning you would click on the Search button which will stop the active transfer will display the following Window.

Search

Click "OK" to confirm that you want to Search & Restart and the following Window will be displayed.

Select Search Position

In the text box with the label "Find What:" enter in the location you want to start from, usually the line number, and click the "Find" Button to locate your starting point or scroll and select the line that you want to restart the program from.  SuiteFactory always starts at the beginning of the selected line.

Click "Start" to re-queue the job to have it start execution from the selected program line or "Cancel" while clicking the "Cancel" button will start the program from the beginning of the program file.

Restart

Clicking the "Restart" button will bring up the following Window.

Note: The program continues to execute until you click the "OK" button.

Clicking the "OK" button will stop the present execution of the program and restart the program from the beginning while clicking the "Cancel" button will continue with the present program execution.

Abort

Clicking the "Abort" button will bring up the following Window.

Note: The program continues to execute until you click the "OK" button.

Clicking the "OK" button will stop the present execution of the program and abort the program removing it from the queue while clicking the "Cancel" button will continue with the present program execution.
