End of Block

Overview

SuiteFactory provides for changing the End of Block setting for a file being sent out or received from a machine tool. In order to be able to display a file on the monitor the ending has to be <CR><LF>. This setting may be different from what the machine tool needs in order to function correctly.

Machine Properties (Conversions)

Send End of Block

Whatever value you select in this drop-down list will be substituted for the end of block in the file being sent to the machine tool. I.e. If the file being sent has <cr><lf> for an ending and the machine tool will only accept <lf> SuiteFactory will automatically do the substitution.

Receive End of Block

Whatever value you select in this drop-down list will be substituted for the end of block in the file being receive from the machine tool. I.e. If the file being uploaded from the machine tool is a <lf> for an ending SuiteFactory will automatically change it to <cr><lf> if that is the selection.
