Ethernet Serial Hub

SuiteFactory supports the use of Ethernet-serial hubs. While this is an older technology it is still widely supported.  If you feel you want to move on to a more Lean solution you may want to consider wireless but this technology is fully support by SuiteFactory. Call if you need help.

Device Master Hubs

  • 2 Port Ethernet Serial Hub
  • 4 Port Ethernet Serial Hub
  • 8 Port Ethernet Serial Hub
  • 16 Port Ethernet Serial Hub

Note: These Hubs are all Ethernet based and can be installed anywhere on the Network and associated with any workstation running SuiteFactory.  Serial Hub Drivers need to be installed for SuiteFactory to operate correctly.  These are supplied as part of the initial installation.  You can download these from http://support.comtrol.com/download.asp.

Cables are physically attached to the Serial Hubs and then attached to any machine tool. 

USB Hubs have been found not to function correctly.
