Manage DNC Files

Overview

Beside providing the basic and advanced communications capabilities (DNC), SuiteFactory also provides a number of Management Tools that allow you to view, distribute, control, modify, monitor events, collect and generate detailed file histories, etc. for DNC files as well as other types of documents. 

Depending on the User Groups you belong to and their associated " Rights" these various Management Tools are available to you.

To investigate how SuiteFactory Manages DNC Files, click on the "Manage DNC Files" Icon and the following Window will be displayed.

Since DNC Files are associate with various "Objects" such as : "Resource Collections", "Machine Tools", "Virtual File Cabinets" & "Packets" and can exist in many different "States" such as:  "Approved", "Unapproved", "Assigned", "Unassigned" & "Waiting for  Sign-Off" SuiteFactory provides a User with multiple ways to view DNC file Relationships & States. 

To explore these see "Change View" and select the view that best meets your immediate needs. I.e. Need to approval files, see approved files only, view file cabinet relationships, etc.

The following view "Manage DNC Files (Assigned Items)" can be set by clicking the "Change View" Icon, see above, and setting the displayed Window's parameters as follows.
