How to Use this CD Manual

Overview

The SuiteFactory CD Manual is laid out in an easy to use intuitive fashion. The links on the left side of the CD Manual (see partial view below) in general start with a link "Tool Bar Menus" followed by links representing the "Icons" (usually not grayed out) as displayed in the current SuiteFactory's active View.

You will also find general information on salient points of SuiteFactory that may not be available directly through its Menus or Icons such as: How SuiteFactory uses Drag & Drop, How SuiteFactory handles Transferring programs from a Machine Tool, etc.  These will be found at the end of the displayed CD Manual Links.

Note: The CD Manual Links are in same order as the Icon links displayed on Current Active SuiteFactory View where appropriate.

As an example, see the partial view of the CD Manual the "Main Tool Bar" above, you will find a complete description of the "Text Menus": File; View; Configure; Help; as displayed on the  "Main Tool Bar" by clicking the on the CD Manual (See Above). 

Next, you can then get a complete description of each of the Icons: Manage DNC Files; Manage Controlled Documents; Manage Packets; Monitor Machines; Workstations; Machines...; Resource Collections; Users; User Groups; Configure 3rd-Party Tools; as displayed on the "Main Tool Bar" by clicking on the Corresponding CD Manual Link (See Above).

Note: Where detailed descriptions exist in an other section of the CD Manual there may be a combination of links in the main html document and links in the left hand window that describe all of the Icons in the present SuiteFactory View.
