Import

Overview

There are two ways to import files into SuiteFactory.  One is "Automatically" and the other is manual.  This section deals with manually importing DNC Files into SuiteFactory.

Note: This is one of many relationship views that you can configure.  If you would like to modify this view click on the "Change View" Icon and select the options that best suite your needs.

Manage DNC Files (Assigned Items-Import)

Select the "Resource Collection" you want to Import the file into and click the "Import" Icon and the following Window is displayed.

Select Import File

Clicking the Open Button will display the following Confirmation Dialog Window.

Note: When manually importing files the source file may be deleted, moved to a sub-directory or left in place based on the setting in the options.  See database configuration.

Click Import and close this Window.  The Imported file is now assigned to the selected "Resource Collection".
