Database Configuration

Overview

SuiteFactory is an Enterprise International Manufacturing Application that requires to be configured to a particular company's requirements before being successfully deployed in the factory.

There are numerous configuration settings that allow SuiteFactory to be configured to meet any discrete manufacturing's requirements. Following details the various settings and configurations.

Note: This Guide of SuiteFactory was created with a Licensed for SuiteFactory which includes, DNC, Document Control and Packet Licenses.  Your License determines which modules are available and therefore what you see may be different.

Main Tool Bar

SuiteFactory requires some basic configuration before it can be put into production and needs to be configured specifically to meet the requirements of your company.  I.e. ISO9000, File Naming conventions, Rights, etc.

Click on the Configure Menu and select/click the sub-menu option: "General System Configuration" as shown below.

The following Window will be displayed after an initial warning regarding exclusive database access.

Tabs Window

By selecting the various "Tabs" you can configure SuiteFactory to meet the needs and requirements of your Company.
