Installing RocketPort MultiPort Adapter

Components

MultiPort Adapter Card(s)
which is placed inside the computer into an ISA or PCI slot.
MultiPort Adapter Cable(s)
which connects from the MultiPort Adapter Card(s) to the Distribution Panel(s)
Distribution Panel(s)
which has 4, 8, 16 or 32 ports. These ports connect to the RS232 cables that are attached to the machine tools.

Note: If you are using RocketPort MultiPort adapters make sure you plug the MultiPort Adapter Cable(s) into the MultiPort Adapter Card(s) and not into the parallel port(s). Unfortunately these ports have the same connectors.
