We travel where you need us!
CCI provides the labor, materials & services necessary to connect LAN & RS232cables to your DNC Workstations and machine tools. This includes attaching connectors to the RS 232 & LAN cables at both the machine tool and DNC Workstation ends.
Shop Floor
We take the responsibility for providing the correct pin-outs, cable wiring, parameter settings and protocol settings for virtually any machine tool. With over 15 years of experience we have connected to virtually every machine tool ever manufactured. If you have old N/C machine tools that require BTRs(Behind the Tape Reader) CCI manufactures and installs these to your machine tool. We are one of the few DNC Providers who designs and manufactures their own BTR units. This means you will never get into a finger pointing exercise of who is responsible for what.
Engineering & Administration
We will take the responsibility for installing network cards, high speed serial adapters, DNCWin applications and configuring all of your DNC Workstations for network operation. We work with your Engineering & Administration personnel to optionally supply and install computers & operating systems of your choice.
Cabling
Installation of the cable and can be provided by a third party cabling
company if you don't have the personnel to install the cable. CCI can help you
choose the correct cabling for RS232 & RS422 installations and or contact a
cable installer. CCI will work with you and or the cable installer to insure
that appropriate precautions are taken to guard against electrical "noise" which
can cause data transfer errors. If your shop is very "noisy" CCI can supply
RS422 adapters, which will virtually guarantee high speed error free data
transfer. CCI will wire your CNC's for the fastest data transfer available.
