Login/Logout

Overview

SuiteFactory controls access to it's feature based on User's "Rights".  In order to access SuiteFactory you must logon to SuiteFactory using a User Name and password if required.  When you logon to SuiteFactory using this User Name/Password you are gaining the "Rights" assigned to the "User Groups" this "User" belongs to.  

Note: To login as a different User, see "Main Tool Bar (Logout)" below.

Initial Login Window

During the initial startup you are required to enter a User Name and Password if required.  You will then be logged into the system with the "Rights" configured for the "User Groups" you belong to.

After clicking the "OK" button the following Window will be displayed.

Main Tool Bar

The displayed Window may be different depending on the "User Groups" you belong to and the "Rights" each Group has.  SuiteFactory is a session based system with floating licenses and you must acquire these from SuiteFactory's license pool to have access to all of it's features.  See below for details. 

Main Tool Bar (Initial Login)

If you are just managing the System with Administrator's "Rights" but have not acquired DNC and Packets licenses the above Window would be displayed.  See acquiring a DNC/Packet Sessions and Changing Acquire Sessions Mode.

Main Tool Bar (Acquire DNC/Packet and or Change Acquire Session Mode)

If you want to be able to have access to DNC & Packet Sessions or change the acquire session mode select the File menu from the Main Tool Bar and then select the desire menu selection.  See detailed descriptions elsewhere in the manual.

 Note: If you want to logout and login as a different User select File/Logout and proceed as shown above.
