Manage Macros

Overview

SuiteFactory provide a feature that allows you to take and existing N/C File and convert it to a new N/C File using a predefined Macro.

A Macro is module that will search for on piece of text and substitute if for another. SuiteFactory's Macro allows you to do a search and replace any number of time so a single processing of a file could literally change thousands of pieces of text while substituting the replacement text.

SuiteFactory NC Editor (Manage Macros)

Click on the Macro Icon and the following Window will be displayed.

Note: Macros allow you to perform multiple search and replace actions on any selected file.  Macros could be used to modify files that were used on one controller and are being used on a new controller where direct substitution of elements of an N/C Program applies.  

Click the New button and the following Window will be displayed.

Edit the Name to suite your needs and click the OK button and the following Window is displayed.

Clicking the Add button and the following Window will be displayed.

The above "Macro" will replace every occurrence of "M01" with "M02".  Click "OK" to save this "Macro" and the following Window will be displayed.

Continue adding as many search and replacements as needed.  When complete and click the Apply button to save all of the sequences.
