Single MultiPort Adapter

SuiteFactory supports various machine tool network configurations including a Single Multi-Port Adapter.  If you have an existing RS232 cable infrastructure and don't intend to move any machine tools in the foreseeable future this is probably the configuration for your needs.

If this is your first venture into a DNC network and you're a small shop with less then 16 machine tools this may be the most cost effective solution to implement a DNC network in your shop.

Single MultiPort Adapter Configuration

It make sense to use this type of configuration when you have a small shop, have an existing RS232 cable network and you are supporting less then 16 machine tools and machines tool are not going to be moved.
