Check Out and Edit with 3rd-Party or Native Application

SuiteFactory provides Users with a means to store third-party documents in SuiteFactory's database (SuiteVault) and use a third-party application to edit these files. 

This provides a User with a means to control their documents like any other SuiteFactory File within SuiteFactory and therefore you they have complete ISO9000 control. 

You can use SuiteFactory to control your documents and safely Checked Out a File for editing with a third-party application and Check this File back into SuiteVault when you have finished Editing.

Note: Any File that has been "Checked-Out" can not be edited, queued, etc. It has a status of don't touch! View yes, Edit NO!

Manage Packets (Check Out and Edit...)

Select the Document you want to edit and click on the Check Out and Edit with 3rd-Party or Native Application Icon and the following Window will be displayed.

Select Editing Tool

If there are multiple third-party tools chose the appropriate one and click the OK Button and the following Window will be displayed.

Depending on our "Rights" various options will be displayed. Select the appropriate Button and the following Window will be displayed.

Perform any Edits you need and save the document.
