Packet RightsAccess All PacketsChecking this right grants this "User Group" access to any Packet for editing at any workstation. Access Unapproved PacketsChecking this right grants this "User Group" the ability to View Packets that are Un-Approved. This is the only "Right" granted. If you need to additional "Rights" inherited for other "Rights" to perform any actions. Assign Packets/Clear Packet AssignmentsChecking this right grants this "User Group" the ability to Assign and Clear Packet Assignments to Resource Collections. Resource Collections are the reference holders for N/C Files. Packets and Machine Tools can also be assigned to Resource Collections allowing the Machine Tools access to N/C files and "Users" to access them both. Check Out Uncontrolled Files for Third-Party EditingChecking this right grants this "User Group" the ability to check out Uncontrolled Files for editing with a Third-Party Tool. Third-Party Tools are setup at each Workstation and could be an test editor, MS-Word, etc. Uncontrolled documents are files located outside of SuiteFactory's database. Copy PacketsChecking this right grants this "User Group" the ability to make a copy of a Packet and all of it's contents. Copy Uncontrolled Files for Third-Party EditingChecking this right grants this "User Group" the ability to copy and check out Uncontrolled Files for editing with a Third-Party Tool. Create New PacketsChecking this right grants this "User Group" the ability to create a new Packet from scratch and save it in SuiteFactory's database. Delete PacketsChecking this right grants this "User Group" the ability to delete a Packet from SuiteFactory's database. Edit Packet Approval and SignoffChecking this right grants this "User Group" the ability to Approve and Signoff a Packet as "Approved". Finial Approval requires that all of its Documents and N/C Files are also approved. Edit Packet Page PropertiesChecking this right grants this "User Group" the ability to Edit the Document Properties. The properties consist of file extension and whether it is a "Master" file. Master Files are protected from normal deletion and require additional "Rights" other then the "Right" to be able to delete N/C Files. Edit Packet PagesChecking this right grants this "User Group" the ability remove and add Packet Pages. Pages are N/C Files, Documents and other Packets. Edit Packet Search CriteriaChecking this right grants this "User Group" the ability to Edit the values used in the search criteria fields. Edit Packet Search Criteria PicklistsChecking this right grants this "User Group" the ability to Edit Picklist and its values used in the search criteria fields. Purge PacketsChecking this right grants this "User Group" the ability to Purge Packets subject to data integrity rules. Rename PacketsChecking this right grants this "User Group" the ability to rename Packets. Sign Off PacketsChecking this right grants this "User Group" the ability to Sign Off Packets as Approved. View Mode All Packets->Resource Collections and MachinesChecking this right provides this User Group with the above "View". View Packet Approval and SignoffChecking this right grants this "User Group" the ability to View Packets waiting to be Approved by you and Signed Off. This is the only "Right" granted. If you need to edit the signoff status you will need that "Right". View Packet PagesChecking this right grants this "User Group" the ability to View the Packet Pages themselves. This is the only "Right" granted. If you need to edit the Packet you will need that "Right". View Packet History ReportsChecking this right grants this "User Group" the ability to View the Packet Pages themselves. This is the only "Right" granted.
