Packets

Packets are type of container that is used to hold any number of documents and N/C Files.  This container could be considered to be an "Operation" and be used as part of a "Traveler".

From the "Main" menu click on the "Manage Packets" Icon and the following Window is displayed.

Manage Packets

From within this Window "Packets" can be approved, un-approved, assigned, un-assigned, deleted, populated with N/C Files & Documents, and displayed using AutoVue, Native applications or Web Browsers with the appropriate plug-ins.

Note: Look at "Change View" for information on different "Relationship Views" as the view below is just one of the many ways of viewing these relationships.

The present view displays all of the "Approved" Packets, see "Change View" for different Views, and the relationship "Packets" have to "Resource Collections".

Click on the Links to the Left for Packet Structures and Relationships.

Approval Process

All Approvals of N/C Files, Documents and Packet are basically the same.

Following are the affects of Approving or not Approving.

First if you have the right to view both "Approved" and "Un-Approved" files/documents/packets there are no access restrictions.

Note: If you are just instituting an ISO9000 program you may want to chose this mode until you have instituted your the program in full.
