Page Properties

SuiteFactory is a full featured communications and secure database driven system supporting full Document and File Control. 

As part of this Document Control System SuiteFactory provides a mechanism for storing related documents and files together for Engineering and Manufacturing.

This container is called a Packet. One way a Packet can be used would be to consider it as an "Operation" and be used as part of a "Traveler". 

SuiteFactory provides the ability to view Packet Documents and Files in three different modes. If you have purchased AutoVue or you have a Third-Party Viewer or Web Plug-in support SuiteFactory can display all of your Documents and Files.

You can register local applications using SuiteFactory Configure 3rd-Party Tools or purchase AutoVue, SuiteFactory's "Native" Document Viewer.

Click on the "Page Properties" and the following Window will be displayed.

Open using the native application

Choosing this option will allow Windows to open what it considers the native "viewer" for this document or file.  if it doesn't locate an application that it feels can handle this document you will be allowed to search and associate an application that does.

Open Using AutoVue(tm)

This option is only available if you have purchased and installed the Third-Party Viewing Application AutoVue.  It has its own multi-windowed document viewer supporting over 220 formats for viewing. 

Note: If the system has not been set to use AutoVue this option will not be displayed.

Open using Web Plug-Ins

This option allows you to display your document in a Browser with the appropriate Plug-Ins.  They must exist for this option to work.

Note: During the initial SuiteFactory Configuration you can establish the default Viewing mode.
