Print Document

Overview

SuiteFactory supports its own printing for N/C and text files but depends on the Native Applications to print documents. If you have AutoVue associate with the highlighted document it will be responsible for printing the documents. 

If the highlighted document is associated with another Application that application will be used to print the Document. As an example if Word was the application associated with a Document it would be responsible for printing it.

Manage Controlled Document (Print Document)

Clicking on the "Print" Icon will print out the highlighted file as a drawing since in the above case AutoVue is associated with this document.  This can be changed using the Windows Standard Properties Window.

Folder Options (File Types)

If you would like to associate a particular document with an Application use the Folder Options (File Types) to establish the application association. 

Click on the Change button and the following Window will be displayed.

Open With Window

To establish the association for files to AutoVue you would now search for each of the files and set AutoVue as the application to open when selecting these file.

Click the Browse button and the following Window will be displayed.

Open With...

 Select the files you want to associate with AutoVue and click the Open button.
