PropertiesOverviewSuiteFactory support two properties for N/C Files. These properties include whether this file is a Master File and the name of file extension which is helpful if you want to run it with a native application that is associated with this file. This could be initiated from within SuiteFactory using its third-party tools. See below for details on setting these properties. Manage DNC Files (Assigned Items-Properties)
Click on the Properties Icon and the following Window will be displayed. Properties Window
There are two properties that can be set for DNC Files. Master FileA "Master" File has the property that it can't normally be overwritten without special "Rights" even in a single version system. So if you want to keep a file as a base file set it as a "Master" file. File TypeNC ProgramDetermines if this is a file that can be executed on a Machine Tool. I.e. If it is a help file these options will not be displayed since you will not be able to send it to a machine tool. Available for Sending to a Machine ToolIf it is a N/C File it can be sent to a machine tool. Not Available for Sending to a Machine ToolIf it is a N/C File it can not be sent to a machine tool.
