Queue DNC FileSuiteFactory is a full featured communications and secure database driven system supporting full Document and File Control. As part of this Document Control System SuiteFactory provides a mechanism for storing related documents and files together for Engineering and Manufacturing. This container is called a Packet. One way a Packet can be used would be to consider it as an "Operation" and be used as part of a "Traveler". SuiteFactory's Packets provides a secure "Container" which can contain Process Sheets, Quality Sheets, Help Files and DNC Files. From within the Packets Window SuiteFactory provide the ability to queue an N/C File for a particular Machine Tool. See below on how to accomplish this. From within the Packet Window select the Packet you are working and select/highlight the N/C File you want to queue to a Machine Tool and click on the "Queue DNC File" Icon and the following Window will be displayed. Manage Packets (Assigned - Queue DNC File Machine Selected)
Click on one of the displayed Machine Tools and the following Window is displayed. Note: Only those machine tools that are assigned to the "Resource Collection" that has this file are displayed. You can't send the file to an unsupported machine tool. Queue DNC File
One TimeSelect this if you are storing this program in memory or you are drip-feeding just one time. Note: If you are drip-feeding just once you must have the Send Time Out set to "0" or the program may stop in the middle of the operation. ContinuouslySelect this if you are drip-feeding and want to run this program over and over. Note: If you are drip-feeding in this mode the Send Time Out is automatically set to "0" for this program only. You will have to about this job to start another job using a Manual intervention or using the Remote About Command from the Machine Tool Controller. From which location....Select this if you want to start from a point other then the beginning of the N/C Program. NormalSelect this if you want to queue up this job at the bottom of the Queue. PrioritySelect this if you want to queue up this job at the top of the Queue. This job will be sent next to the Machine Tool. Chose the appropriate mode/options from above and click "OK" and the file has been queued to the Machine tool as confirmed in the following message. Note: One time is if you storing this program in memory; Continuously if you are running many part in drip feed mode. Queue confirmation
