Rename Document

Overview

SuiteFactory provides the functions need to change documents name. There are times when the name of file is not descriptive or has changed its purpose and a name change makes sense.

Manage Controlled Documents (Rename Document)

Note: Renaming a document only changes the name of the document and doesn't effect any other property. Select the document you want to rename and click on the "Rename Document" Icon and the following Window will be displayed.

Rename Document Window

Enter the new document name in the "New Name" field and click "Rename" or cancel. If you click the Rename button the following Window will be displayed.

Confirm Rename Document

Click the OK button and the following Window will be displayed.

Manage Controlled Documents Window

The above Window now shows the renamed document.
