File Cabinets

Overview

SuiteFactory supports Dragging and Dropping of Packet to/from File Cabinets and Resource Collections.  You can Drag & Drop using the left or right hand mouse button. 

See the details below for using the Right Hand Mouse Button.

Manage Packets (Unassigned Items)

To move or copy a Packet from one File Cabinet to another, first select the File Cabinet which contains the Packet you want to move/copy, then click and hold the right hand mouse button down on the Packet you want to move/copy.  See below for dragging a Packet.

While holding down the right hand mouse button drag the Packet over the File Cabinet where you want to move/copy this Packet. See below for details moving and copying a Packet.

If you are moving a Packet after seeing the yellow page appear release the right hand mouse button and the following Window will be displayed.

To move a Packet to this File Cabinet click on the Move Packet menu and the following Window will be displayed.

If you click the Yes button the Packet will be moved, if you click the No button the action is canceled.

If you are copying a Packet to a File Cabinet chose the Copy menu and the following window will be displayed.

Click the No button and the action will be canceled. Click the Yes button and the following Window will be displayed.

Enter a new name for the Packet and click the OK button to copy the Packet or Cancel button to cancel the operation.  If the database is configured for single version the name can not be the same otherwise the new Packet will have the same name but a different version number.
