User Group Rights

Overview

SuiteFactory's approach for providing system security, access and control is established by assigning specific rights and access privileges to a particular User Group.  By setting Rights for a User Group and then associating Users and Resource Collection to this User Group you control access to SuiteFactory.

This section explains how to establish these "Rights" and associations.

Note: Users have access to "Resource Collections" by belonging to various "User Groups". "Resource Collections" have N/C Files, Machine Tools & Packets assigned to them.  Therefore Users have access to Files, Packets & Machine Tools based on the "User Groups" they belong to.

User Groups (Rights)

Chose the appropriate rights under the different categories by checking the appropriate boxes and saving the modifications.

Note: A "User" assigned to a "User Group" or "User Groups" inherits the all "Rights" from each of the "User Groups" it is assigned to. 

There are over 100 individual "Rights" within SuiteFactory allowing you to establish any level of security and system access.
