Run 3rd-Party Application

Overview

There are times when you would like to be able to startup a third-party tool independent of any file or document stored in SuiteFactory and start that application without having to leave SuiteFactory. SuiteFactory provides this convenience to its Users.

See below for how to start a registered third-party tool from within SuiteFactory.

Manage Controlled Documents (Run 3rd-Party Tool)

If you need to run a 3rd-Party Application from SuiteFactory click on the "Run 3rd-Party Tool" Icon and the following Window will be displayed.

Select Editing Tool Window

Chose the Application that is appropriate and click "OK" or "Cancel".

Note: If you click "OK" SuiteFactory will startup this selected Application but thereafter will have no interaction with it.
