Search ColumnsOverviewSuiteFactory provides a module called SuiteDocs that allows a company to control all of documents from birth to death and to keep a record on the who, what, where and why of all document changes, uses, etc. This section allows you to configure the various setting for managing Documents within SuiteDocs and includes creating Search Columns, Picklists, Single or Multiple versions, etc.
Search Columns (Edit button)Customers can defined "Search Columns" and populate these with key words and phrases that can be used later to retrieve packets. This is very import feature for truly managing packets or in fact any "Document". Clicking the "Edit" (If nothing has been defined button will read "Define") button will bring you to a Window that allows you to define fields that can be used for searching of documents stored in the database. See links at the left for details. Clicking on the "Edit_Picklists" button will bring you to a Window that allows you to edit values that are part of a picklist. See links at the left for details. Note: Picklists are for use for fields whose values are limited in number. I.e. If you offer a limited number of products with a small number of part numbers.
