Sign Off Selected Packet

SuiteFactory is a full featured communications and secure database driven system supporting full Document and File Control. 

As part of this Document Control System SuiteFactory provides a mechanism for storing related documents and files together for Engineering and Manufacturing.

This container is called a Packet. One way a Packet can be used would be to consider it as an "Operation" and be used as part of a "Traveler". 

SuiteFactory provides ISO9000 Features for controlling all of its Documents, N/C Files and Packets.  

A necessary condition for meeting ISO9000 is to be able to control access to Document and Files and only approved Documents and N/C Files are used by Shop Personnel in Production.

SuiteFactory provides a module specifically for Approvals of Packets that can be used on the Shop Floor. 

Note: See Edit Page Approval and Signoff the for creating approval criteria and the list of individuals who need to approve a file before it can be used on the shop floor.  

See below how a User Approves a Packet.

Manage Packets (Assigned - Sign Off Selected Packet)

 Your will need to change the "View" to be able to view Packets waiting to be signed off. Click on the "Change View" Icon and the following Window will be displayed.

Change View

Change the options as follows.

Change View (Packets Waiting for Sign-Off)

Click the OK Button and the following Window will be displayed.

Manage Packets (Assigned - Sign Off Selected Packet)

Select the Packet you want to approve and click the "Sign Off Selected Packet" Icon and the following Window will be displayed.

Note: The Packets viewed in this View are the specific Packets this User has to approve at this time.

Manage Packets (Assigned - Change View)

As you can see the Packet "NEWPACKET" has been approved.

Note: This approval is for the structure only and to use this Packet in Production all of the Files and Documents must also be approved.

You will now need to click on the "Change View" Icon to change the View back to previous or new View if you have completed approval of all of the Packets.

Change View (Packets->Machines..)

Click the OK Button and the following Window will be displayed.

Click the "Up" link to continue.
