SuitePacsTM is a
database-driven application that gives you the ability to associate documents for specific tasks,
projects, manufacturing operations or retrieval of any set of related items. When a packet is
created it becomes a controlled item whose use is governed and monitored the same way as for an
individual document including approval and sign-off.

- Governs who can access any item or feature and to what extent – no access, view only, edit, delete, full access . . .
- The administrator can set up user groups with different rights to access the various features in the software.
- Packet final approval or release date can be scheduled. Create ordered signoff lists. Packet tree view shows approval status by page as well as entire packet.
- Create your own “file cabinet” system for storage of documents and packets. Unlimited tree structure. Drag and drop with left mouse. Copy or Move menu with right mouse. Import Controlled Document with drag and drop as well as Autoimport and manual import. Setup security – limit who can visit any single file cabinet virtual drawer or folder.
- User defined "search criteria" and a "search engine" gives you the ability to add unlimited extra fields or keywords to your document database table. For example, drawing number, job number, customer, operation . . . and fields specifically for ISO9000 file control requirements.
- The search engine helps you to quickly filter, sort and locate specific packets.
- Use native or 3rd Party applications for viewing pages
- Optional AutoVue? software for viewing almost any graphical or text file or document.
- AutoVue? plug-ins adds that ability to your web browse.
- When used with SuiteDNC
- you can queue DNC files in packets for downloading to the correct N/C or CNC machine tool.
- You can upload a file from a machine tool controller directly into a packet to create a new DNC file page.
- Tree view separates unapproved from approved pages; DNC files from Controlled documents from linked file documents.
- Large and small icon views as well as list views available.
- Detailed list view show page approval status.
- Check out and edit as well as approval extends to document files that reside outside the SuiteFactory database in shared operating system folders or directories.
- You can edit or view any packet document page using 3rd party or native applications. DNC file pages can be viewed and edited with SuiteFactory’s built in features.
