UsersOverviewSuiteFactory requires that only Users have access to the various features of SuiteFactory. There is a default User called Administrator who has full access to all of SuiteFactory. SuiteFactory allows an Administrator to create as many Users as needed and allows them to associate a User with "User Groups" which have "Rights" associated with them, thus allowing the User to inherit these "Rights". Normally an Administrator creates Users as individuals or in some cases groups. See below how to create Users. Main Tool Bar
Click on the Users "Icon" and the following screen will be displayed. Users (new)
This screen allows you to create a new "User". You will notice that there always exists a "User" called "Administrator". This is a special "User" and should not be used accept by the System Administrator. To create a new "User" click on the "New" button and the following screen will be displayed. New User Window
You can use any name that you want but it must be unique. Passwords should be used for "Users" who have "Administrative" "Rights". When complete click the OK button and the following screen will be displayed. Users Properties
Edit Password/Confirm PasswordSuiteFactory supports the use of passwords for logging into SuiteFactory. If you leave the password blank you will not be required to enter one to access SuiteFactory. Note: We recommend that you use passwords for accountability. Edit StatusSuiteFactory allows an Active User to be marked as Disabled in SuiteFactory but maintains their User name for future reuse. E-Mail PropertiesE-Mail AddressSuiteFactory supports the ability for a User to be able to send Emails directly from the CNC Controller. The User's E-Mail address must be entered in here. If this User is to receive messages from the Machine Tool Operator this address must be correct. E-Mail NameSuiteFactory supports the ability for a User to be able to send Emails directly from the CNC Controller. The User's E-Mail Name needs to be entered in here. As a note a "User" needs to belong to at least one "User Group" to be able to access SuiteFactory's features. See "Assigning Users" for for establishing these assignments. |
