SuiteFactory provides a process where administrators establish the life-cycle dates of Files and Documents including the authorized Approvers and Workflow approval.
All Files and Documents must be approved by these authorized Approvers before they are released as Approved for use by engineering, production and manufacturing.
SuiteFactory provides a Workflow for Reviewing/Approving Files & Document in an ordered or random list.
In order for a File or Document to be approved it must be Signed-Off by all of the authorized Approvers in the established sign-off order and within its established life cycle.
During a File and or a Document's life-cycle there are times when they need to be modified, replaced, deleted, etc. which will effect their approval status.
SuiteFactory handles these File & Document modifications and changes as follows.
If a DNC File or a Document needs to be modified or edited SuiteFactory provides for Checking-Out and Checking-In of these Documents or Files from SuiteFactory's Secure Vault.
During the editing process this file/document is protected from being accessed by multiple Users.
Any changes to the file/document will automatically force it to be unapproved requiring it to proceed through the approval process.
At any time during this process when a File or Document is modified, copied, changed, deleted, etc. archiving is performed automatically at the appropriate time.
You will always have a backup to fall back on so you will never lose a File or Document again.
