Third-Party Tools

Native Applications

SuiteFactory provides a mechanism for allowing Users to be able to access files and documents from within SuiteFactory's Secure Vault and use Native Applications to securely open, modify and save these files back in SuiteFactory's Secure Vault.

What is a Third-Party Tool?

You can select any applications that are available on your physical workstation and register them with SuiteFactory as a "Third-Party Tool" and then assign these applications to the various User Groups who will need to modify files and documents from SuiteFactory's Secure Vault.

Workstations

Native Applications are specific to a particular workstation and must be selected for each individual physical workstation in general.

After selecting the Third-Party Tool you can rename it to any name that better describes its use from within SuiteFactory.

Assign to User Groups

SuiteFactory extends its security to Third-Party Tools allowing administrators to assign these to selected User Groups. This will allow only Users assigned to these User Groups to be able to select a file or document to edit with third-part tools.
