Selecting SuitFactory from Start Menu

none

After installing SuiteFactory click on the Start Menu(Lower Left Corner of Windows) and then click on the CCI SuiteFactory x.x\SuiteFactory x.x Runtime Menu and the following Window will be displayed.

Configuring SuiteFactory

none

Note: To select the Location where the Database will be installed click on the OK Button and the following Window will be displayed.

Select SuiteFactory Database Window

none

Note: There are two database providers that SuiteFactory Supports. We will be using the Microsoft Jet 4.0 but if you prefer to use SQL Express Server please call us. Click on the Browse Button and the Following Window will be displayed.

Browse Folder Window

none

Note: Use this Window to select where you want to install the database. We recommend that you don't use Mapped Drives Unless it is a local Drive as these can be problematic. Also any "Folder" you choose for the database can't be a top-level "Folder" but must be a "Sub-Folder" even if you decide to use a Mapped Drive.

Selecting UNC database Location

none

Note: We are showing a UNC Drive as if you were installing the Database on a Server. If it is local just browser to the local "Folder" and select it. The Folder you choose must have full Window Rights and it would make sense for you to have created this "Folder" and set the "Rights" before hand. Make sure that IT is involved so you will not have to move the "Database/Folder" later! Click on the OK Button and the following Window will be displayed.

Select Folder Window

Note: Click on the OK Button and the following Window will be displayed.

Note: As you can see this is a Local Drive so SuiteFactory will not let you choose the UNC Path. Just select the local Path directly when using the Browsing Window.

Note: As you can see above this is a Sub-Folder in a Local Drive so SuiteFactory is happy. Click the OK Button and the Following Window will be displayed!
